US Department of Education Blue Ribbon School Program

Each year the Department of Education recognizes a select number of public and non public schools for overall academic excellence or for making progress in improving students' academic achievement. Reverend Brown School was one of the 50 non-public schools selected and received this national award for "exemplary high performance."

Welcome to Reverend Brown School

Reverend George A. Brown Memorial School is a Catholic school in the Diocese of Paterson that educates students from Pre School through grade 4. The school has built a reputation for developing strong spiritual values in an equally strong academic environment. It is a reputation gained through the efforts of dedicated teachers and administrators, the hard work and diligence of our students, and the participation and support of our school parents.

Reverend Brown also holds the "Star School" designation. The award was granted by the Diocese of Paterson for the school's outstanding success in student achievement in mathematics, science, and technology.
